DispensaryThe dispensary is open at the following times: Monday - Friday Telephone 01935 872955 The Health Centre has its own dispensary manned by trained dispensers. We can dispense acute and repeat prescriptions for all patients who live more than one mile (1.6km) from a pharmacy. It is a requirement of the Health Authority, that in some cases, the patient or their representative when collecting items completes the back of the prescription. Please do this if requested by the staff. For any enquiries regarding medication please call 01935 872955. The dispenser will liaise with the patient's own doctor where necessary. Repeat PrescriptionsThese may be ordered by using the request form attached to your prescription and put in the box at Dispensary or sent to us by post. Otherwise by telephoning the dispensary number and speaking to a dispenser. Please give your patient number (at the top of the repeat form) and a list of the items you need. We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all repeat prescriptions (please note this does not include Saturday and Sunday). You may order any repeat medications via this web site. To be able to access this facility you will need to have an individual access and ID code. Please contact Reception who will be able to issue you with this. Patients on repeat prescriptions will be asked to make an appointment with the doctor at regular intervals for a medication review. Repeat prescriptions will be taken for collection to Evershot Post Office and Halstock Shop on branch surgery days. This can only be done for prescriptions that do not carry a charge. Please give the same 48 hours notice as outlined above. Returning Waste MedicationWe can accept out of date and unused medication for safe disposal. Please do not accumulate unwanted medications at home. Obtaining Medication Out Of HoursIf you need an urgent supply of medication when the surgery is closed please contact Urgent Care Services on 0845 600 10 13. |
