In House Services - Under the NHS

In line with our philosophy that Yetminster Health Centre should be a true 'Health Centre' we will endeavour to bring as many additional services to the community as we can. At present we are pleased to be able to offer the following:

Physiotherapy

The practice physiotherapist will see patients who have been referred by the doctors for a variety of conditions. These may include joint and muscle problems such as back and neck pain, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries and chest infections.

2pm - 5pm
 
Thursday
8.40am - 11.30am

Chiropody

The practice chiropodist is available to patients referred by the doctors. He is at the practice at the following times:

Alternate Fridays
9am - 12pm and 2pm - 4pm

Where necessary home visits can be arranged.

Mental Health Triage

The services of a mental health team worker are available twice a month for advice and help signposting to the correct course of treatment.

Counsellor

Is available on two days a week by referral from your doctor.

Private

Complementary Medicine - Private Services

The practice offers the opportunity to see an osteopath, an acupuncturist and a nail cutting service at the Health Centre, with further services to come. For details of charges and to make an appointment please contact reception.
